Air Pacific Holidays sells first million - 25-Feb-2009

FIJI’S international airline Air Pacific has hit the jackpot again with its web based sales channel, Air Pacific Holidays making $1million sales.

Through the partnership with renowned on-line travel wholesaler Expedia, Air Pacific has used the dynamic packaging platform to offer customers the best of Fiji.

According to the airline’s managing director John Campbell a wide selection of hotel and resorts offers packaged with great value Air Pacific air fares enable travellers to research and purchase on-line in the comfort of their own homes.

“Launched in May 2008 in Australia with subsequent launches in New Zealand and North America , Air Pacific Holidays turnover now exceeds one million Fiji dollars,” he said.

“Air Pacific will grow its holiday offers whilst continuing to work closely with traditional partners to offer great value to customers and aggressively promote Fiji in an extremely competitive global environment,” Campbell added.

Meanwhile, Air Pacific’s General Manager Airports & Operational Services Watson Seeto has been appointed the new Regional General Manager for Asia.

Seeto has 30 years work experience with the airline and has held management roles at the airports.

Campbell informed that they are delighted to have a person of Watson’s calibre to set up the airline’s operations in Hong Kong.

Air Pacific has added a new Asia route this year. The airline will begin non-stop flights between Hong Kong and Nadi from June 18.
